From Kaitlin:
Autism is a condition that affects a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social
skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication, as well as by unique strengths
and differences. As of 2017, autism affects 1 in 68 children and is more likely to affect boys than
girls. I was directly affected by autism when my cousin was diagnosed with autism. I want to
help spread awareness and raise money that will go to research concerning the causes of autism.
Giant Gymnastics of Sparta and I are hosting an open gym on Friday April 28, 2017. All
donations will go to Autism Speaks.
